The Violet Flame - Power of Transmutation

What Is the Violet Flame?

Just as a ray of sunlight passing through a prism is refracted into the seven colors of the rainbow, so spiritual light manifests as seven rays, or flames. When we call forth the spiritual flames in our prayers and meditations, each flame creates a specific action in our body, mind and soul. The violet flame is the color and frequency of spiritual light that stimulates mercy, justice, freedom and transmutation.

To "transmute" is to alter in form, appearance or nature, especially to change something into a higher form. The term was used by alchemists who attempted to transmute base metals into gold, separating the "subtle" from the "gross" by means of heat. The real purpose of alchemical transmutation was spiritual transformation and the attainment of eternal life. That is precisely what the violet flame can do for us. It separates out the "gross" elements of our karma from the gold of our true inner self so that we can achieve lasting spiritual transformation.

Why is the violet flame so powerful? In our physical world, violet light has the shortest wavelength, and therefore the highest frequency, in the visible spectrum. Since frequency is directly proportional to energy, the violet light also has the most energy. That means that it also has the greatest ability to change matter at the atomic level.

How Does the Violet Flame Work?

Saint Germain explains that the violet flame has the ability to change physical conditions because, of all the flames, the violet is closest in vibratory action to the components of matter. "The violet flame can combine with any molecule or molecular structure, any particle of matter known or unknown, and any wave of light, electron or electricity," he says. Wherever people gather together to give violet-flame prayers, "there you notice immediately an improvement in physical conditions."

The violet flame can literally consume the debris within and between the atoms of your being. It's like soaking them in a chemical solution that, layer by layer, dissolves the dirt that has been trapped there for thousands of years.

When you call forth the violet flame, it sets up a polarity between the nucleus of the atom and the white-fire core of the flame. The nucleus, being matter, assumes the negative pole; the white-fire core of the violet flame, being Spirit, assumes the positive pole.

The interaction between the nucleus of the atom and the light in the violet flame establishes an oscillation. This oscillation dislodges the densities that are trapped between the electrons orbiting the nucleus. As this hardened substance that weighs down the atom is loosened, it is thrown into the violet flame. On contact with the violet flame, the dense substance is cleansed, purified and restored to its native purity. Freed of this debris, the electrons begin to move more freely, thus raising our spiritual vibration and our energy levels. This action takes place at nonphysical, or "metaphysical," dimensions of matter.
